good torch, would recommend

I want it for a school science club and it seems really promising. It can't be left on - it only works when someone presses the button. And it certainly shows up fluorescent materials a great deal better than a 395nm torch.

Great Product

This is a great little torch with loads of advantages.
It is small and very powerful with easy adjustment to the beam, has a flashing mode and could be cliped to bike for increaced visibility, has also got an SOS flashing mode that would be a bonus if lost in the hills and you can remove the lense to reveal the candle mode ideal for lighting a larger area, for example a tent!

Bought this for red light for astronomy. It is good enough to take on walks in the dark for full bright illumination. New battery type gives better life. Control is through two buttons, but this is OK in the end. I found it comfortable to wear for an hour or two. It is a class device, if expensive.
