Coast CL20R Rechargeable Clamp LED Work Light

The CL20R is Coast's most versatile work light yet with multiple attachment and directional options, and is a rechargeable unit that provides a high output of 1750 lumens from a single white flood LED.

Dual power options means that the light can use the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is great for away from home or work, or it can also be continuously used when connected to mains power with the included USB-C to USB-A power cable which is great if you need to use it for long periods of time. The power cord is extra long in comparison to normal charging cables, so that you can still easily position the light while you need it even when connected to a mains power source.

The same power cable will also charge up the internal lithium-ion battery, and the battery indicator on the back will show charge status as well as current battery status when not charging. Each of the four lights indicates status in 25% increments and when all four are solid the light is fully charged. As well as a USB-C port for charging, the back of the work light also includes a standard USB-A port so that it can be used as a power bank to charge external devices such as a mobile phone.

The light is operated using the power button located on the back and each press will cycle through low, mid, high and off. If in any mode for longer than 5 seconds the next press will turn the light off thanks to Coast's easy off technology.

What sets this work light apart from many others is the large padded nylon clamp, which opens up to 2 inches wide, and is attached to the light via the swivel ball joint. This allows the light to be clamped to a pole easily within the curved padded area, or on a flat area with the flat padded section, and then it can be positioned in multiple directions thanks to the ball joint. From flat against the clamp it can rotate forward within a 115° angle, and once clear of the clamp it can rotate 360° to provide the most versatile movement and positioning a light can offer.

Other features include strong magnets on the bottom of the clamp for attachment to magnetic surfaces, and high impact TPR corner protection on the edges of the light, so it is ready for anything.

The CL20R is dust and water resistant to IP54 standards, and it is ideal for the repair and maintenance industry, as well as all those home DIY tasks.
