Time to Dispatch

All orders that are placed before 3 pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day, please note that we do not dispatch at weekends or on public holidays.

We will have an announcement bar on our website if there any known issues affecting delivery, such as industrial action by any delivery service or bad weather, etc.

Delivery Cost

The delivery cost is of your order is calculated depending upon your geographical location. We have a delivery cost calculator on the shopping basket page and pop-up basket, so you can enter your postcode and find the delivery cost for your order.

As a general guidance, delivery costs to the UK mainland are free for orders over £40 and start at £3 for orders under £40.

Delivery to non-mainland destinations are free for orders over £40 and start at £3 for orders under £40 only if the order can be shipped via Royal Mail, if it has to go via courier due to the order containing lithium batteries that are not contained within equipment prices start at £9.90.

We use Royal Mail, UPS and DPD for sending out orders.

Free Delivery Eligibility

We have to send lithium batteries via a courier service in situations where the lithium batteries are not contained within the equipment that we are shipping. For shipping destinations in the UK mainland region then we can still ship orders over £40 with no delivery cost to our customer. However for certain destination postcodes we have to charge for delivery due to the higher costs incurred by shipping to those postcode regions.

We have a delivery cost calculator on the shopping basket page and pop-up basket, so you can enter your postcode and find the delivery cost for your order.

Royal Mail Service Information

Tracked 48

We currently ship to the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands & Highlands, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

The parcel is tracked through the postal network from door to door. If no one is in to receive the package, it can be collected from your local Royal Mail office which will be identified on a card your postman will post though your door, or if you prefer, you can re-arrange delivery by calling the telephone number on the card.

As a general guideline the Tracked 48 service will take approximately 1-4 working days for delivery.

Special Delivery

We currently ship to the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands & Highlands, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

This delivery method is recommended if your order is urgent. Delivery is guaranteed during the next day after dispatch (excluding Sunday).

A signature will be required and if no one is in to receive the package, it can be collected from your local Royal Mail office which will be identified on a card your postman will post though your door, or if you prefer, you can re-arrange delivery by calling the telephone number on the card.

The charge for this service is weight dependant and will be dynamically calculated at checkout or you can use our delivery cost calculator on the shopping basket page and pop-up basket where you can enter your postcode and find the delivery cost for your order.

Special Delivery is a guaranteed next day service (excluding Sunday).

UPS Service Information

UPS Standard

This delivery can be used if you prefer to use UPS and will also be the default option if your order contains any lithium batteries that are not contained within equipment.

If no one is in then your parcel may be left in a safe place or taken to a local collection point, the other course of action is that the driver will make another delivery attempt on the following day.

You will receive an email from us with a link to the UPS tracking website. Please check your tracking information regularly for updates.

As a general guideline the UPS Standard service will take approximately 1-2 working days for delivery.

Please note: Saturday & Sunday are not considered as working days by UPS.

DPD Service Information

DPD Parcel

This delivery method will be the default option if your order contains any lithium batteries that are not contained within equipment and you are located in a UK Non Mainland area.

The delivery time for this method is usually 1 to 2 working days after dispatch, but please expect some delays during busy periods. If no one is in then your parcel may be left in a safe place or taken to a local collection point, the other course of action is that the driver will make another delivery attempt on the following day.

You will receive an email from us with a link to the DPD tracking website. Please check your tracking information regularly for updates.

DPD sometimes deliver on a Saturday but it not guaranteed. DPD do not deliver on a Sunday.

A superb carry torch, bigger than my Fenix PD35, but still small enough to drop into a pocket.
Very bright, illuminating most of a field at night, the rotary switch is fast and easy to operate.
Particularly liked the free gift; a plasma phase lighter. Have played with this for hours, experimenting with magnetic interference, using it in different gases, etc. Much safer than a gas lighter.

I had an issue with a dive torch I bought a couple of years ago.

The customer care team asked me a couple simple questions then without quibbling advised it sounded faulty so the best thing to do would be to send it back and provided a pre-paid return label. Upon examination the team found the torch to be faulty. The torch was no longer the current version and was out of stock so they replaced it with the updated version for me!

I was so pleasantly surprised by how kind and understanding the customer care team are. I would definitely buy from them again and will be recommending to friends and family.

Maglite Spectrum Series Red Solitaire AAA LED Torch ( RED , LED ) …fantastic , I had the old version for 35 years and it still works “bulb type” + additional spare original bulb in the cap …. The only thing with the old Version it was with a clear lens so I made one out of some red plastic which did the job…..! The new one is far superior which I would expect after 35 years later , no modifications needed …😂 …. Need to test the new one more maybe write another review later …..! But in general, all is good. 😉👍🏻

I haven’t had the chance to test this torch yet but I am very impressed with how it feels in the hand. A very nice weight and you can tell it’s made well.
I am extremely impressed with the level of customer service I have received from the team at Torch Direct. I accidentally entered my old address when purchasing as my Apple Pay hadn’t yet been changed. The team were more than happy to change it for me and replied to my email asking them to extremely quickly. Royal Mail then delivered my parcel to the wrong address and the team did everything they could to help me find it even though they had put the correct address. Would definitely recommend purchasing from these guys as the service alone is worth it.
