Coast PM100R Dual Rechargeable LED Work Light

The Coast PM100R is a lightweight, ergonomic rechargeable work light that can be used as a torch with an output of up 220 lumens from the spot and flood LEDs located in the top of the torch, or an area light with an output of 650 lumens on high from the COB LED on the front of the torch.

The unique feature of this work light is that both the torch and area light can be turned on at the same time to provide a combined output of up to 850 lumens when on the highest setting of both torch light and area light.

Two push buttons located on the front of the torch independantly operate the torch light and area light outputs. The bottom button controls the area flood lighting which has three output levels and cycles through low, mid, high and off with each press. The top button controls the torch lighting and cycles through the three modes of spot, flood, spot + flood and off with each press. If in any mode for longer than 5 seconds the next press will turn the light off thanks to Coast's easy off technology.

Either edge of the PM100R features a handy ruler, with inches on one side and centimetres on the other. It measures up to 13 cm or 5 inches, which is perfect for small jobs when quickly checking measurements. Another useful feature is the large magnetic hanging hook, which pulls outwards in increments to be able to position the light effectively when hanging or using the magnet, and it can also be used as a kickstand to sit the torch on a flat surface. This versatility makes it perfect for a range of tasks, including but not limited to machine maintence, vehicle repairs and workshop use.

The PM100R is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is recharged via the USB-C port. Reveal the charging port on the back of the torch by lifting the silicone dust cover and insert the USB-C end of the cable. Then plug the USB-A end into a suitable USB power source. The four charging indicators next to the charging port will each become solid green in turn, with the current light flashing green while in progress before moving to the next one, until all four lights are solid green to indicate a full charge. Ensure the dust cover is preoperly replaced after charging to maintain the IP54 dust and water resistance.

As well as displaying charging status, the four indicators will also show the battery level while in use, showing either four lights (100%), three lights (75%), two lights (50%) or one light (25% or less). Once one light is reached it is remcommed to charge the battery as soon as possible to maintain a healty battery life.

It is made from tough plastics, which gives it the lightweight design weighing only 137 grams.
