Ledlenser AF8R Work Rechargeable & Mains LED Floodlight

The Ledlenser AF8R is a compact yet powerful 4000 lumen work light, perfect for tradespeople and work environments with dual power options, Bluetooth compatibility, flexible mounting and robust housing.

The AF8R features an efficient, direct light with a CRI of 80 and reduced glare thanks to the multi-concentrated light technology as well as being Bluetooth compatible with the Ledlenser app and the Ledlenser AF Series Controller.

There are 5 brightness levels available in total which are operated with the ring of push buttons on the back of the AF8R. Press the central button to turn the work light on or off in the last used setting. The plus symbol above and the minus symbol below the central power button control the brightness levels while the K symbol button to the right controls the colour temperature. The LED indicators to the left of the buttons will display the output selected through their colour.

With the AF8R on, press the plus symbol to increase the output in the neutral white. To decrease the output press the minus symbol. The LED indicators will show red on the selected output. To control the colour temperature of the AF8R press the K symbol button. Each press will cycle through the colour temperatures from 3000 K to 6500 K. The LED indicator will display yellow.

The AF8R features a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation. To lock or unlock the AF8R, press and hold the central power button till the light flashes twice.

The battery symbol button on the left will light the indicators in green to show the remaining level of charge for 5 seconds. Simply press the button from on or off to display, the work light will stay on in the selected output if pressed while on.

Utilising a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, the AF8R provides a run-time of up to 2 hours on the highest setting and is easily charged back up using the supplied USB-C cable. Simply lift the rubber dust cover on the back of the work light and insert the cable into the charging port, then insert the other end into a suitable USB power source to begin charging automatically. Each LED will light in turn through the charging progress, with each LED representing the stages of charging at 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% and once fully charged all five LED indicators will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 360 minutes.

Alternatively the AF8R can be mains powered, lift the power input cable from the back of the AF8R and lift the dust cap. Connect to the included power adapter, or before connecting to the power adapter connect to the Ledlenser extension cable (not included). Plus into a suitable mains power outlet and ensure you keep the back of the AF8R dry.

The AF8R includes a diffuser which provides a soft filtered light. To remove the diffuser simply lift the grey stoppers from each corner of the diffuser and lift off of the work light. Store carefully to avoid damage.

The AF8R sits in a hinged bracket allowing for direct light where you need. Push the light forwards or backwards and allow it to rest on the hinged bracket. Or the AF8R offers versatile hands-free functionality, making it ideal for work environments or DIY enthusiasts. Its magnetic bottom allows for convenient attachment to magnetic surfaces, while the handle can be hooked to provide hands-free lighting. Additionally, the included hook and loop allow for secure attachment of the AF8R wherever needed. It even features one M10 hole which allows for another attachment option for hands free use.
