The NightSearcher Explorer 1150 is a rechargeable hand held torch with up to 1150 lumens, advanced zoom functionality and cutting-edge LEP technology for a intense focused beam with improved throw and precision.

Now enhanced with LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology, the Explorer 1150 offers a sharper, more focused beam, making it ideal for long-distance visibility without sacrificing clarity.

The rotational bezel allows the beam to switch from spot to flood ensuring the Explorer 1150 is perfect for an array of tasks. With five modes the Explorer 1150 is operated using the push button on the neck of the torch. 

Powered by a 217000 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery the Explorer 1150 is easily recharged via the USB-C port on the neck of the torch in only 3.5 hours.

The Explorer 1150 can also function as a power bank, perfect for charging other devices while on the go.

Built tough for professionals, the Explorer 1150 is manufactured from super-strong, durable aircraft-grade aluminium and features a IPX5 rating.

Very bright for its size.

Small enough to go on a keyring but bright enough to be useful.
The battery lasts a fair time (I'd guess around 30 minutes use) I've had to charge it less than once a month - and the button changes from green to red when it needs charging.

Big OH ! Olight Marauder 2

I never understood all the fuss about the Olight range of “expensive” flashlights even though I own a small collection of other quality flashlights.
I seen the Olight Mini advertised for €135.00 on a French site recently I bought it & was so impressed with it I now own its bigger brother the Marauder 2.

The quality build the solid feel in your hand and the 800 metre throw, it’s like holding a Light Sabre.

Guys I’ve been there with Imalent 34000 lumen models, always hard to hold and super heavy still a very good built flashlight especially the flood feature but Olight has raised the bar for me in terms of quality build; fantastic technology and super easy to hold and store.

Olight……. OH YES.
Invest guys you won’t regret it.

Olight Marauder 2 Rechargeable LED Torch
Great throw and spill

Great service from TorchDirect with helpful support over the phone. I opted for the warm version as I find it easier on the eye. The torch is robust and has a great non slip finish. It sits well in the hand and is easier to operate be it in basic or advance modes. For purists it’s not a perfect beam on a white wall but this doesn’t show up in ‘normal’ use and is far outweighed by the excellent balance of throw and spill making it great for walking or indoor use. The torch can tailstand (great for power cuts) and has a strong magnet to attach to anything magnetic.

Bought this torch for it’s runtime spec and that you can replace the battery or carry a spare with you if needed. For my needs this is the perfect head torch, operation is simple, the various light levels are ample i think for most people and it is comfortable to wear with the wide headband. My only mistake ordering this torch was i didn’t realise the difference between usb-c and usb-c micro which was what i had so i needed to order the usb-c charger and a usb-c to usb-a lead for home use. The torch is great snd you shouldn’t be disappointed if you purchase one.
