Olight Odiance Rechargeable LED Work Light

The Olight Odiance is a high output work light with a choice of 10 colour temperature levels ranging from warm yellow to cool white, and using the built-in 99.36 Wh lithium-ion rechargeable battery the Odiance also offers a 3 A power bank output.

It has a variable output with a maximum of 3000 lumens and a minimum of 230 lumens on the cool white setting, or a maximum of 2500 lumens and a minimum of 200 lumens on the warm yellow setting from a COB LED, as well as a variable colour temperatures between 2700 K and 6000 K.

Offering excellent light spread and power the Odiance features two rotary knob switches on the back to control all the settings. The right knob (when viewed from the back) is the on/off switch and controls the brightness output by twisting the knob clockwise to gradually increase the output to set it at your desired level, and twisting all the way anticlockwise turns it off.

The left CCT knob changes the colour temperature by twisting the knob clockwise to decrease the colour temperature for warmer yellow light or anticlockwise to increase the colour temperature for cooler white light. Each knob position represents one of the ten colour temperature positions, so half way would provide a neutral white light. There is also a wireless remote control stowed away in the back of the work light, which can be used to control the Odiance up to a distance of 10 metres away using the four buttons.

When the light is turned on, or is discharging, the battery level indicator will light up and features four blue LEDs to display remaining battery power. Four lights is 100-75 % power, three lights is 75-50 % power, two lights is 50-25 % power, one light is 25-5 % power and one flashing light is 5-0 % power and the Odiance should be charged as soon as possible.

The built-in battery is easily recharged via the USB-C port, by lifting the dust cover on the back of the light and inserting the USB-C charging cable into the charging port at one end and inserting the other end into a USB-C port or charging adaptor.

While charging the charging indicators on the back will display charging progress with one light flashing to start with before becoming solid and the next light flashing until eventually all four LEDs are solid after approximately 5 hours, 30 minutes full charge time when using a power source that supports fast charging via 30 W USB-C PD (power delivery). If using a lower output USB-C power source charging times will be extended.

In addition to the light function, the Odiance has a power bank feature that can charge external devices via either the standard USB-A port with an output up to 2.4 A or the 30 W USB-C power delivery port (for devices that support fact charging) with an an output of up to 3 A. Connect an external device to either port to begin charging the device and the battery level indicators on the work light will light up to show discharging is in progress.

A rotating handle can be used for easy carrying, features a tripod mount screw hole and can be pulled out to use as a stand or rotated within a 180° range so that the light can be angled in the perfect direction.

The above data is measured to ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standards indoors under the temperature of 25°C in windless conditions, therefore results may vary due to environmental and heat dissipation conditions. The active thermal management system will decrease the output to protect the LEDs from overheating.
