Fenix LR35R Rechargeable LED Searchlight

The Fenix LR35R is a high performance rechargeable searchlight that delivers a maximum output of 10000 lumens and a beam range of 500 from 6 x Luminus SST-40 LEDs. It has a wide beam angle of 90° to easily light up the area around you to aid in searching large areas and increase efficiency.

The LR35R is powered by two included ARB-L21-4000P 21700 4000 mAh cold resistant lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, which have a high discontinuous discharge current of 10 A in order to access the high output of the torch. The batteries are charged inside the torch via the USB Type-C charging port, which is located on the neck of the torch. Lift the dust cover and plug in the USB Type-C cable at one end and plug the standard USB end into a USB port or a USB adaptor (5 V 3 A recommended for fastest charging).

The charging indicator light on the switch will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours, 30 minutes if the power supply is sufficient enough to support the 3 A output, otherwise the charging time will be longer when using a lower output USB adaptor.

The side switch activates the torch by holding it for 0.5 seconds and then each press cycles through the modes of eco, low, mid, high and turbo. Hold the switch for 0.5 seconds again to turn the light off. The last used brightness output will be remembered next time the torch is turned on. Strobe is activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds and a single press will exit strobe.

To prevent accidental activation the LR35R has a switch that sits at the same level as the surrounding metal ring to minimise it being pressed and the torch also features an electronic lockout function. The lockout is accessed by two quick presses of the button while the light is off and the torch will blink twice to indicate it has entered lock-out mode.

A built-in battery level indicator displays the battery status for 3 seconds when the button is single pressed with the light off. It will show either a solid green, green flashing, solid red or red flashing light. A low battery voltage warning function is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level when the voltage drops below the preset level. Once it reaches low output it will blink red to remind you to charge the batteries.

A lanyard and holster are included to provide easy carry and transport of the torch, and the fixed pocket clip allows for easy attachment to a belt, pocket or backpack.

Please note:
To avoid overheating the torch has two types of inbuilt protection. The temperature protection will lower the output of the torch if the temperature reaches 65°C or above when using turbo, high and mid modes. Once the torch has cooled below 65° the brightness can be reset to the higher outputs. Please see images for a run-time graph.
