Silverpoint Scout XL220R Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The Silverpoint Scout XL220R provides strong all round performance with 220 lumens of white light from the main LED, 70 lumens flood light from the two side LEDs and a 5 lumen red light.

Two outputs of high and low are available from the main 5 W white LED, while the two SMD white LEDs provide a diffused flood output which is good for up close work. A single SMD LED provides a red output which is useful for preserving the eye's natural night vision, night reading, animal spotting and astronomy.

The dual push buttons on top of the head torch operates the white LEDs separate to the red LED so as not to disturb that all important night vision. Switch 1 cycles through the main white modes with single presses in the order of high, low, flood and off, while switch 2 turns the red light on or off with each press.

It is powered by a built-in 1200 mAh lithium-ion battery pack, which can be easily recharged with the included cable via the micro USB port located on the bottom of the head torch. Simply remove the dust cover to insert the micro USB end of the cable, and plug the standard USB-A end into a USB adaptor.

The sturdy hinge allows the direction of the light to be adjusted, so that you can shine the beam where you need it the most. Furthermore the Scout XL220R is IPX6 rated making it sufficiently waterproof to be used in heavy rain, wet conditions or can withstand being dropped in a puddle.
