Olight Seeker 3 Pro Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Seeker 3 Pro is a high output rechargeable LED torch that is the successor to the Seeker 2 Pro and is even more powerful with a lumen increase of 1000 lumens, to now produce 4200 lumens output on the turbo setting. To prevent overheating the Seeker 3 Pro will maintain the turbo brightness for 2 minutes, 30 seconds before dropping down to 1200 lumens to protect the LED.

Featuring four Osram high performance cool white LEDs, the Seeker 3 Pro combines this with a TIR optic lens to provide a balanced beam profile with a central hotspot surrounded by spill light, offering a maximum range of 250 metres. The body of the torch features milled finger groves with a dermatoglyphic silicone surface to provide a comfortable and non slip grip.

Another new feature is the nifty proximity sensor that will automatically reduce the output if the head of the torch becomes too close to an object when it is in the third setting or higher so that the heat expelled from the torch doesn't cause any damage. While close to an object the rotary switch will not work to allow you to increase brightness, however it can be overridden with a double press of the button. Please keep the lens clean and free from water or dirt as this may prevent the sensor working, and equally any scratches to the lens may trigger it.

The multi-function side-switch user interface has had an upgrade and now features a circular blue rotary switch. To prevent accidental activation the Seeker 3 Pro will automatically lock after 30 seconds without use, so the light will need to be unlocked before each use or after 30 seconds with no operation, which can be done by rotating the switch over 90° to unlock the torch.

Once the light has been unlocked it can be turned on with a single press of the switch and will come on in the last used brightness setting (turbo will be recalled as high). There are preset brightness levels that can be cycles through in the order of low, mid and high by holding down the button with the light on, or the brightness level can also be changed steplessly by rotating the switch clockwise to increase brightness or anti-clockwise to decrease brightness. For turbo access you double click the button and a triple click enters strobe. Moonlight mode can be accessed by holding the button down while the light is off.

When the light is turned on the indicator switches either side of the button will illuminate. The indicators up the left hand side are to show the mode you are in with the first one for moonlight or low, the second one for mid, the third one for high and the fourth one for turbo. The indicators up the right hand side are battery level indicators and the bottom fist one shows 10-25% power, the second one is 25-50% power, the third one is 50-75% power and the fourth one is above 75% power.

It is powered using the included Olight 21700 5000 mAh customised lithium-ion battery, which is recharged inside the torch using the included magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the Seeker 3 Pro and plug the USB-A end into a USB port or the mains using a USB adaptor. The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 4 hours, 30 minutes when using a 5V, 2A output.

Two timer settings are on the Seeker 3 Pro; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode.
