Olight RN 2000 Rechargeable LED Bike Light

The Olight RN 2000 is Olight's latest lightweight rechargeable bike light that is capable of a maximum output of 2000 lumens, features a remote control plus the smart mode all which are designed with mountain biking, urban commuting or road cycling in mind.

The RN 2000 is powered by two 18650, 3350 mAh lithium-ion batteries which can be recharged in the torch. Lift the cover on the bottom of the torch to reveal the USB-C port, plug the included charger in and connect the other end to a suitable USB power source. Charging will begin automatically with the indicator flashing red while charging is in progress and turning green once fully charged after approximately 3.5 hours.

The RN 2000 features a central button surrounded by an upwards and downwards button. Press and hold the central button to turn the torch on or off. The two up and down buttons allow for easy output selection with the upwards button increasing the brightness and the downwards button decreasing the brightness.

The RN 2000 features a wireless remote control for easy handling of the torch while on a bike. The remote control sits securely on the handle bar of a bike and features a circular and square button. To pair the RN 2000 with the remote control, turn on the torch then hold both the circle and square button on the remote control for around 10 seconds until the indicator alternately flashes blue to enter pairing mode. Then bring the remote to the light until the indicators both turn constant blue for two seconds to show pairing is complete.

To turn the torch on or off while using the remote control press either the circle or square button. To change between the Flood or Hybrid modes double press the circle button and to adjust the brightness single press. To direct enter the high 2000 lumen output press the square button and to return to the previous output single press either the square or circle button. To access the flash mode double press the square button.

Featuring smart sensor functions the RN 2000 offers a smart mode which detects your surroundings and adjusts the lighting accordingly. To turn the smart mode on, double press the centre power button on the torch and then long press for three seconds. When used in daytime the torch will turn on in the low flood output and at night will turn on in the last used setting. The smart mode uses the vibrations to detect activity, when inactive for more than 2 minutes the light will turn off and after 30 minutes the torch will turn off.

The battery indicator will display while the torch is on. To check the battery level of the torch while off quick press the button and the indicator will display for three seconds. Green indicates the battery is 100-21%, red indicates 20-11% and red flashing indicates 10-1% and the batteries should be charged as soon as possible.

The high quality handlebar mount features a quick detach function that allows you to leave the mount attached to the handlebars and easily remove the torch. The strap slots into the mount and once in position the mount can be tightened with the included hex key to ensure a secure fit. The torch then sits into the mount horizontally and is twisted 90° forward to lock it into the mount.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standard. Measured using the included battery pack, indoors under the temperature of 25°C with windless conditions. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.

Please Note: *Due to temperature regulation the outputs will decrease when used for prolonged periods if the torch becomes too warm internally in order to prevent the LEDs from overheating.
