Olight Prowess Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Prowess is a bi-directional rechargeable torch with an output of up to 5000 lumens, perfect for every-day carry, camping or ambient lighting with its multiple mounting options.

The Prowess features innovative bi-directional lighting with a cool forward light offering up to 5000 lumens and a warm reverse light offering up to 800 lumens. To switch between the forward and reverse lights, simply switch the toggle switch on the neck of the torch forwards for the front light and downwards for the back light.

To turn the torch on in either output, press the push button on the neck of the torch. While in the backward lighting output and on, press and hold the push button to seamlessly cycle through the outputs. The torch will flash to indicate it has reached the highest or lowest output. While the torch is on in the lower output, double press to quickly switch the the highest output. While on in the higher outputs, double press to quickly switch to the lowest output. While off, press and hold the push button to turn the torch on in the moonlight output, press again to turn the torch off. Quickly double press the button while the torch is off to turn the backward light on in the turbo output.

While in the forward lighting output and on press and hold the push button to cycle through the low, medium and high outputs. While the torch is on in the lower output, double press to quickly switch the the highest output. While on in the higher outputs, double press to quickly switch to the lowest output. While off, press and hold the button to access the moonlight output, double press to access the turbo output or triple press to access the strobe output.

The Prowess will remember the last used mode (excluding turbo, strobe outputs) and will turn on in the last used mode if turned on again within one minute.

The Prowess features a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation. To access the lockout mode, press and hold the push button for two seconds. The torch will turn on in the moonlight output before entering the lockout mode. The indicator in the centre of the button will show red if the push button is pressed while in lockout mode. To unlock, press and hold the push button for one second, the torch will turn on in the moonlight output.

The Prowess is powered by a 5000 mAh 21700 type lithium-ion battery which is recharged inside the torch using the included USB-C charging cable and the detachable base. Connect the base to the torch and then insert the USB-C charging cable to the torch and the other end to a suitable USB power source. Alternatively you can use the Olight MCC3 magnetic charging cable (not included) without the detachable base. Simply connect the cable to the base of the torch and the other end to a suitable USB power source. While charging the indicator in the centre of the push button will light to show the battery level. Charging time with the included USB-C cable is approximately 2.5 hours, with the MCC3 charging time is approximately 4.5 hours.

The battery indicator will show the battery level while the torch is on. A green light shows above 60% charge, an orange light shows 60-10% charge, a red light shows 10-5% charge and a red flashing shows below 5% charge and the torch should be charged as soon as possible.

The diamond-textured design provides a non-slip grip and the magnetic base allows the Prowess to be used hands free. The Prowess can also be secured to a tripod using the detachable base, perfect for hands free area lighting. Simply connect the base to the torch and screw onto a compatible 1/4 inch tripod. Alternatively, the Prowess can be secured to a wall using the fixing bracket and tools included, for a convenient storage solution. The included holster offers easy carry and can also be used with the fixed bracket.
