Olight Javelot Pro 2 Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Javelot Pro 2 is a high output rechargeable LED torch that is the successor to the Javelot Pro and while it still offers an amazing reach, it now boasts a higher output of 2500 lumens on the turbo setting. To prevent overheating the Javelot Pro 2 will maintain the turbo brightness for 5 minutes before dropping down to 1000 lumens to protect the LED during constant use.

Featuring a high performance cool white LED, the Javelot Pro 2 combines this with a deep reflector fitted into a large diameter head to provide a balanced beam profile with a central long distance hotspot surrounded by spill light, offering a maximum range of 1050 metres. The body of the torch features an aggressive yet attractive knurling design to ensure a good non slip grip, which is still comfortable to hold due to the slim build.

The body itself is the battery pack which is made up of two 5000 mAh 21700 lithium-ion batteries, and it is integrated into the body design, but the tail cap and head can still be removed for maintenance and replacement. The torch comes isolated with a small disc between the battery pack and head that needs to be removed upon first use.

Charging the battery pack is done via the tail switch using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the tail of the Javelot Pro 2 and plug the USB-A end into a suitable USB power source, such as a mains USB adaptor. The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 9 hours, 30 minutes when using a USB output of 5 V 2 A.

Two versatile switches give you multiple options for accessing the four brightness levels. The side switch turns the torch on and off by holding down the button, and once turn on single presses will cycle through in the order of low, mid, high. The last used brightness setting will be remembered next time you turn the torch on if it was turned off using the side switch.

The tactical tail switch gives access to both low and turbo modes either for constant or momentary output. A quick half press of the tail switch will access constant low, while a quick full press will access constant turbo. Repeat to turn the light off again or hold down the side button. For momentary operation, half press and hold for low output or full press and hold for turbo output and when the button is released the torch will turn off.

When the light is turned on the indicator switches either side of the button will illuminate. The indicators up the left hand side are to show the mode you are in with the first one for low, the second one for mid, the third one for high and the fourth one for turbo. The indicators up the right hand side are battery level indicators and the bottom fist one shows 10-25% power, the second one is 25-50% power, the third one is 50-75% power and the fourth one is above 75% power.

A nylon holster with a magnetic flap closure is included to protect your torch when not in use, and features a belt loop for easy carry. The torch is supplied in a sturdy plastic case for storage and easy transport.
