Olight Diffuse Rechargeable LED Torch

The Olight Diffuse is a compact and lightweight rechargeable torch in the shape of a pentagon that can provide a maximum of 700 lumens, perfect for everyday carry.

Five brightness levels as well as strobe are available, and are controlled using the metal side switch. To turn the torch on or off press the side button, while on press and hold to cycle through the low, medium and high outputs. To access the moonlight output press and hold the button for one second while the torch is off. To access the turbo mode double press and for the strobe output triple press. 

To prevent accidental activation when not in use the Diffuse has a handy lockout function. To lock or unlock the Diffuse, press and hold the button for 2 seconds while the light is off.

The Diffuse is powered by a built-in 950 mAh 14500 lithium-ion rechargeable battery which is recharged via the USB-C charging port on the battery. Twist open the tail cap to remove the battery and then connect the included USB-C charging cable to the battery and the other end to a suitable USB power source. The indicator will show red while charging and green once charging is complete after approximately 3.5 hours. Alternatively the Diffuse can be powered by one AA alkaline battery, the perfect back up when on the go or in emergencies.

A battery level indicator wraps around the button and will automatically display the battery status when the button is pressed. Green indicates 100-60% charge, orange is 60-15% charge and red light is 15-0% and the battery should be charged as soon as possible. This feature is only available when using lithium-ion batteries, when using any other battery with a voltage lower than 3V the indicator will only display red.

The torch will generate a lot of heat when used in high or turbo for extended periods, therefore the overheat protection will automatically reduce the output in order to protect the LED from overheating, and once the torch has cooled the high or turbo mode can be reselected.

The flat edge design prevents rolling on a flat surface as well as giving the torch a unique look.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using the built-in 5000 mAh rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
