Olight Baton 3 Premium Rechargeable LED Torch With Wireless Charging

This is the Premium version of the Baton 3 that includes a portable wireless case allowing you to recharge the torch 3.7 times, which is perfect for camping or when you are on the go.

The Olight Baton 3 is an upgraded version of the popular S1R Baton II and still has the same compact design but now offers 1200 lumens output on the highest setting, before dropping down to 300 lumens after 1 minute, 30 seconds to prevent the LED from overheating and is available in black or red.

Only the included Olight tailored IMR16340 550 mAh lithium-ion battery can be used to power the Baton 3, it is not compatible with any other battery type. The battery is recharged inside the torch using the included wireless charging case.

Simply insert the torch into the case, and the internal charging indicator will light up red to show charging is in progress, and turn green for 10 seconds before going out to show charging is complete. Smart deactivation of the torch will occur if the torch is turned on and placed in the charger with the lid closed. When charging the torch the external indicator will flash red to alert the user if the power level of the case drops below 10% so that you know to recharge the wireless case.

The wireless case has a built-in 3500 mAh battery which can be recharged by connecting the USB-C end of the included cable to the USB-C port on the side of the case and plugging the USB-A end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The indicator above the port will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete. If the case is plugged in to charge with a torch inside it will prioritise the charging of the torch first if the input is below 1 A, or charge both simultaneously if the input is above 1 A.

A new upgraded feature is the battery level indicator built into the side switch of the torch that lets you know when the battery needs charging. A green light indicates above 60% power, an orange light indicates 10-60 % power, a red light indicates less than 5-10% power and a red blinking light means less than 5% power and that the torch needs to be charged.

Utilising a high performance cool white LED and TIR optic lens, the beam produces a wide, balanced hot spot with an increased maximum beam distance of 166 metres.

As before the Baton 3 features five brightness levels and strobe, and the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level with the torch turned on by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch. Turbo is accessed by a quick double press when the light it off or on.

Strobe is activated by three quick presses while the torch is on. The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid, high and turbo.

The Baton 3 contains two timer settings; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed with the light off by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds to lock it and the same again will unlock it. The Baton 3 also features a dual purpose magnetic tail cap, so you can use it as a hands-free work light, and an innovative two way pocket clip makes it easy to carry the torch on clothing or a backpack.
