Nitecore LA10 LED Camping Light

The LA10 is Nitecore's first camping light, offering 135 lumens of diffused white light from a XP-G2 S3 LED.

The lipstick style design means that the diffused tip of the LA10 can be extended by twisting the dial near the base of the torch to provide 360° illumination with a beam diameter of up to 10 metres and then retracted making it compact for easy stowing away when not in use.

Fully tightening the tail cap will turn the LA10 on and loosening the tail cap will turn it off. loosening and tightening the tail cap within two second intervals will cycle through the brightness levels of low, mid, high and beacon.

The tail cap is also a powerful magnet, allowing you to attach the LA10 to metal surfaces for hands free use, or using the included lanyard it can be hung from a tree or tent as a pendant light.

Powered by one AA alkaline or NiMH battery the LA10 has a run-time of up to 1 hour, 30 minutes in high when using a NiMH.

Really nice piece of kit. Extremely compact, well made, and gives a really nice, even, light. Will light a tent easily - or even a decent sized room well enough to move around. Very light on battery use too.

Great EDC torch

I bought this to try something different as an EDC torch. Normally I wonder around with the nitecore tip but thought I would try this. Its great! Good level of usable light. Magnetic tail is ace. The way you change the brightness is odd at first but soon becomes intuitive. It should be obvious but I will say it anyway. This creates a circle of light around the torch. It doesnt throw a beam in anyway. It is a pocket lantern. Really happy with the purchase
