The Nitecore HU2000 is a compact head torch which provides a maximum output of 2000 lumens and a red light designed for preserving night vision.

Featuring a 10-core NiteLab UHE LED, the Ultra High Efficiency (UHE) technology offers enhanced brightness and longer-lasting light while consuming less energy. The HU2000 features a 58.9 mm light emitting surface which provides clear, three-dimensional illumination for enhanced visibility. The HU2000 also features an auxiliary red light which is useful for activities such as night reading, astronomy and wildlife observation.

Two independent switches are located at the top of the head torch, a power button and a mode button, for easy operation. Seven outputs are available in the white light with the emergency output allowing for up to 66 hours run-time and two special modes of SOS and beacon. The red light offers three outputs, including a slow flash output.

To prevent accidental activation during transportation the HU2000 features a lockout function.

The HU2000 features a split type design and includes a USB-C extension cable that enables the use of an external power source. It is compatible with most power bank models and requires an output power of ≥20W with PD protocol to access the turbo output. Additionally, the design allows for easy storage of the power source in a pocket or bag, making it ideal for cold weather conditions and reducing weight. The secure hook and loop strap ensures a stable connection to the power source.

When the connected power source is running low or being changed, the HU2000 has a built in battery which allows for up to 30 minutes of emergency lighting, ensuring safety.

With a weight of only 114 grams, the HU2000 is both compact and lightweight. The light can also be tilted to an angle of 85° for maximum versatility. The headband is made of elastic, breathable, and skin-friendly materials and features reflective elements for increased safety.

The versatile multi-purpose clip can be positioned in various directions and easily attached to a hat, backpack, or shoulder.
