The Nitecore Carbon Battery 6K is a super compact carbon fibre battery which acts as a power bank for your devices, perfect for activities such as hiking where the weight load is important, but is equally great for long weekends away from home, or the commuter who relies on a good power source.
The body design is a unibody shell construction made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer, which provides extra strength and protection against impact and up to 200% more pressure resistance than conventional power banks as it is made as one piece.
The Carbon 6K is compatible with Nitecore head torches and extends their runtime, perfect for long adventures. When connecting with Nitecore head torches the head torch seamlessly activates performance mode which is purposefully designed to regulate the rate of brightness reduction. It is also perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets and cameras.
External devices are easily and conveniently charged via the USB-C port on the Carbon 6K. Simply connect the compatible devices cable to the port to begin charging automatically. The LED indicators will show the remaining power level of the Carbon 6K when first turned on and a single press of the power button will also display the power status, so you always know how much power you have left when not in use, or while being discharged.
To charge the Carbon 6K insert a USB-C charger (not included) into the USB-C port and the other end to a suitable USB power source. Charging will begin automatically and the red LED indicators will flash in sequence until all remain solid to show a full charge after approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.
The LED indicators can also act as a read safety light when attaching the Carbon 6K to a head torch. When the power indicators are off, long press the power button for one seconds to turn on the red flashing mode. To turn the indicator off, long press the power again.
With a IPX8 rating, the Carbon 6K is ready to accompany you on your adventures with rain or shine, making it a reliable and durable power source whether you're trail running, camping or commuting.
Please Note: When the temperature of the Carbon 6K is too high, it will automatically regulate it's output and may cease charging while it cools, to maintain the optimal performance and prolong the lifespan of the battery.
