Nitecore 8 A High Discharge 18650 3600 mAh Lithium-ion Protected Battery (NL1836HP)

The Nitecore NL1836HP is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh and this model has a high continuous discharge current of 8 A.

A HDC battery is required with certain torches, such as the Nitecore Concept 1, MH23, MH12GTS and P12GTS in order for the torch to draw enough power from the battery to access the highest brightness setting.

The NL1836HP has a range of safety features to ensure peace of mind when using and charging the battery. The internal safety features include a microporous barrier to protect internal components, pressure relief valve with activates in the event of rapid temperature increase and built-in PTC inhibiting high current surges. Externally, the battery has nickel plated stainless steel protectors to ensure high impact resistance and oxidation resistance.

To extend battery life it is recommended that the battery be charged every three months when unused for long periods
