Nitecore 21700 USB-C Rechargeable 5000 mAh 15 A High Discharge Lithium-ion Protected Battery (NL2150HPR)

The Nitecore NL2150HPR is a high capacity 21700 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery with a high continuous discharge current of 15 A, which is specifically designed for use with high discharge devices such as the Nitecore E4K, and features a USB-C charging port to remove the need for an external charger.

Using a USB-C charging cable (not included) this battery can be easily charged up via the USB-C charging port that is located at the positive anode of the battery. A charging indicator will glow red once the charging cable is plugged in and connected to power to show charging is in progress and it will turn green once charging is complete. As well as being able to charge via the USB-C port, it can also be charged in a compatible external battery charger if desired.

As with all Nitecore batteries, safety is paramount and the NL2150HPR cell has a range of internal features to keep you and your devices as safe as possible. The 21700 battery has an innovative anode design with high temperature resistance, built-in PTC to inhibit high current surges, pressure relief valve which activates in the event of a rapid temperature increase and a microporous barrier that protects the delicate internal components. Externally, the cell is equipped with nickel-plated stainless steel protectors at both ends and is coated with a durable metallic film to guard against abrasion.

The 21700 is recommended to use with the following Nitecore chargers: UI1, UI2, UM2, UM4, UMS2 and UMS4.

Please note: You will need to purchase a USB-C cable or suitable battery charger if you do not have one. This battery is larger than an 18650 battery and cannot be used in standard 18650 sized torches. Please check the dimensions of your intended application before purchasing, as they may not fit some products. To extend battery life it is recommended that it is charged every three months when unused for long periods.
