NEBO Transcend 1500 Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The Nebo Transcend 1500 is a rechargeable head torch that can also be easily removed from the head band bracket to be used hands free.

The 3 high power LEDs output an intensely bright beam of 1500 lumens on the turbo output, which is designed as a boost setting, allowing 30 seconds output at a time in order to prevent the temperature of the torch becoming too high and thus protecting the LEDs. The high output is a constant setting of 750 lumens that lasts for 4 hours and two other brightness settings are available as well as strobe.

It is powered by the included USB rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery, which has a USB-C port built into the battery itself. Remove the battery from the torch to charge it by plugging in the supplied USB-C cable to the port on the top of the battery, and the other end plugs into a standard USB-A port. The charging indicator light on the battery will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete. Be sure to reinsert the battery positive end down and to fully tighten the end after charging to maintain the IPX7 waterproof rating (up to 1 m depth for 30 minutes).

Featuring four brightness levels and Strobe, the torch is operated with the push button at the end of the light, as well as a rotary mode selection dial. The mode can be set in low, mid or high by twisting the dial to the corresponding letter before turning the light on, as well as being altered while the light is on for convenience and to save cycling mode. Once in your desired output, press the button once to activate the light and press again to turn it off.

Turbo is activated by holding down the button while the torch is on or off and will last for 30 seconds before reverting to the previous mode (unless you exit early with a single press), whilst a quick double click at any time will access strobe and a single press will exit to the last setting. Any time the torch changes brightness it will do so gradually which is easier on the eyes and also helps to preserve battery life.

The head strap attaches to a plastic bracket to hold the torch securely in place and allows the torch to be rotated within a 180° angle to direct the beam where you need it, and the torch can quickly be removed from the bracket if required. A battery power indicator is built into the button and will illuminate while the torch is turned on. If the light is orange this indicates that the battery has over 25% power and once the light flashes this indicates that the battery has less than 25% power and needs to be charged soon.

Great for hands free use, the Transcend 1500 also features a magnet on one end of the torch, perfect for work on the car, in a workshop, or attaching to any magnetic surface.
