NEBO Luxtreme SL25R Rechargeable LED Torch

The Nebo Luxtreme SL25R is the first in the new Luxtreme SL range, and is a rechargeable torch that features a spot LED capable of shining 1/4 of a mile (400 metres) and also has a white flood COB LED as well as a red COB LED.

The highest setting is the spot, offering a maximum of 500 lumens output with a run-time of 2 hours. An orange mode selector dial on the back allows for selection of the outputs, rotating through to the right from the off position (O), to red flood (R), flood (F) and spot (S). Once the desired mode has been selected, the light can then be turned on with the trigger style button on the front of the torch, allowing for one handed mode changing and operation.

Red light is useful for night reading, animal spotting and preserving night vision and can be directly accessed by turning the dial to R before turning the light on to keep the night vision in tact.

If the trigger button is pressed while the selector dial is in the off position the torch will display the battery power status via the 4 indicator LEDs above the dial. Approximate battery status is 100% with 1 red + 3 green lights, 75% with 1 red + 2 green lights, 50% with 1 red + 1 green lights and 25% with 1 red light.

Smart Power Control technology will gradually increase the light when the torch is turned on or when changing between modes, allowing the users eyes to adjust to the brightness change more easily and also to reduce the power consumption of the torch.

The torch is powered by a 18650 lithium-ion battery which is charged inside the torch via the USB-C charging port located on the base of the torch, and is revealed by lifting the dust cover. Simply plug the included cable into the USB-C port at one end and plug the other end into a USB power source. The last charging indicator will flash while charging is in progress until all four light are solid.

With an ingress protection rating of IP67, the Luxtreme SL25R is fully dust resistant and is waterproof up to 1 m depth for 30 minutes. A belt clip is attached to the base of the light, and can be taken off or attached to either side of the base to suit your needs, and a lanyard is included for extra security while carrying. There is also a magnet in the base for attaching to magnetic surfaces and it is tripod mountable with the tripod socket in the top of the head.

Note: This unit arrives with the battery in the spare battery compartment (compartment 2). Move the battery to the main battery compartment (compartment 1) before operation.
