NEBO Franklin Twist Rechargeable LED Torch, Lantern & Work Light

The Nebo Franklin Twist is a rechargeable 3 in 1 unit capable of being used as a torch, work light or lantern with it's innovative concealed Arcus COB LED.

The torch has a white LED with a maximum output of 400 lumens that comes out the front of the Franklin Twist like a normal handheld torch, and the 4x zoom allows the light to be adjusted from flood to spot by sliding the head of the torch forwards. The concealed work light and lantern uses COB LED technology offering 75 lumens and 200 lumens respectively on the highest white brightness setting. Twisting the head of the torch will reveal the COB LED which lights up 120° in the work light mode for forward facing directional light, or the full 360° in lantern mode for all round illumination.

Powered by a tailored 2000 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery, the torch has a run-rime of up to 2 hours, on the highest torch output. The battery is charged inside the torch via the micro USB port which is on the back of the torch and revealed by lifting the dust cover. The supplied cable is plugged into the micro USB port and then connected to a USB power source with the USB-A end of the cable. The charging indicator glows red while charging is in progress and turns blue once charging is complete.

All the functions are controlled by red the button located on the side of the unit, and are all dimmable between 100%-10% output. With the COB LED concealed a single press will turn the torch on and off, or with the COB LED revealed presses with cycle through torch, work light and lantern. When the light is turned on the in any of these outputs simply hold down the button and the brightness will gradually begin to dim before then getting brighter again. Release the button at the desired output for the task at hand.

As work light comes from one side of the body with a 120° angle, it is useful when combined with the magnetic base, as you can magnetise it to a vertical magnetic surface and the light would be facing downwards into your work area, or alternatively it can be stood up on a flat surface facing towards the desired area for hands free lighting also. A retractable pocket clip can be pulled out to attached to clothing, backpacks etc. and when not in use slots back in the body for a streamline finish.

The torch as default will always come back on at the highest output, however the light can be programmed to remember an output of your choice so that when you next turn the light on it will come on at your memorised brightness.

Note: The torch will be in demo mode which turns the light off after 8 seconds, to disable this remove the battery upon receipt and leave it out for 10 seconds before reinserting and fully tightening the tail cap.
