Ledlenser Powercase for Head Torch Storage and Charging

The Ledlenser Powercase is a multi-functional case that is capable of charging and storing compatible head torches, as well as being used as a power bank.

It features an internal magnetic charging system that can charge the Ledlenser MH4*, MH5*, MH7, MH8, iH5R and iH9R head torches via their magnetic charging ports. The head torches can be charged using the power from the built-in 5000 mAh battery, or can just simply be stored for secure transportation and protection.

There is a micro USB port under the dust cover on the side to charge the built-in battery using the included micro USB charging cable, and also features a standard USB-A port so that it can be used as a power bank to charge external devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets, smart watches or earphones.

The button next to the USB ports has multiple functions. A single press will turn the powercase on and will display the battery status for two seconds, via the LED next to the button, with a red, yellow or red light. With sufficient power a head torch can be charged via the magnetic charger or an external device can be charged via the USB port by connecting the relevant device and pressing the button once to ensure it is turned on. As the device charges the LED light will go from green, to yellow, to red to show that the internal battery is being drained, and once it reaches red the powercase should be plugged in to recharge.

The powercase can also be set to a low current charging mode which is better suited to devices with smaller batteries such as fitness trackers and earphones. To activate this mode double press the button and the LED with cycle through red, yellow, green twice, and will stay in this mode for two hour or can be turned off before by holding the button for one second.

To turn off the charging function so the powercase can be used for storage, simply press and hold the button for 1 second and it will blink red three times to indicate it is turned off.

A handy carabiner hook is attached to the loop of the case to allow for easy carrying or hanging, and the Powercase is airline approved with a rated capacity of less than 100 Wh, which makes it the perfect compact travel companion for charging your head torch or devices on the move.

*Only the newer MH4 and MH5 models that are equipped with the magnetic charging port are compatible.
