Ledlenser H5 CORE LED Head Torch

The brand new CORE Series is here, and the H5 CORE is the only head torch within the CORE range that uses AA batteries. A 10 seconds boost output offers a maximum of 350 lumens, while the highest constant output is 200 lumens and the lowest constant output is 15 lumens.

The light is operated with the power button on the side of the head torch by pressing it once to turn the light on, and the output can then be altered between the highest and lowest brightness levels using the stepless dimming wheel switch that gradually increases the brightness when twisted forwards and decreases the brightness when twisted backwards. The boost output can be activated by double pressing the button and will illuminate for 10 seconds before returning to the previous setting.

This allows you to select the perfect light brightness for the task at hand, and the last used output will be remembered when the light is turned back on.

It is powered by two AA alkaline non-rechargeable batteries (included) or two AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, with up to 2 hours run-time in the highest constant output. The battery pack sits on the back of the headband, which helps to evenly distribute weight, or with the Ledlenser belt clip type A (sold separately) you canslide the battery pack off of the head band and wear it on the belt.

When the battery level drops to 25% or below, the built-in power indicator will notify you with three blinks of the white light and the light will enter the 15 lumen back up mode to ensure you are not left in the dark and give you chance to replace the batteries.

An advanced focus system allows you to smoothly transition the light from spot to flood by twisting the bezel on the head of the torch and the swivel mechanism of the head lamp provides stepless adjustment of the beam position within a 160° angle so that it can be exactly where you need it.

There is also a lock out mode to prevent accidental activation when not in use, which can be activated by holding the button for 5 seconds until the light blinks twice. To come out of lock out mode, hold the button for 8 seconds until the light blinks twice.

The H5 CORE has improved ingress protection thanks to the flex sealing technology, offering a rating of IP67 making it fully resistant to solids and fully waterproof when submerged in water up to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes, which makes it perfect for everyday use and outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and hiking.
