Ledlenser EX4 ATEX Zone 0/20 LED Torch

The Ledlenser EX4 is an intrinsically safe torch is ATEX Zone 0 / 20 compliant and uses a high quality LED to deliver 50 lumens of white light.

The industrial strength polycarbonate body features three flat sides to prevent the torch from rolling away and also has a built-in moulded pocket clip so that it can be easily carried on a shirt pocket or in a trouser pocket due to it's compact size.

The EX4 is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries which are fitted by unscrewing the head of the torch and then inserting the batteries negative end first into the body. When screwing the head back on it needs to be tightened all the way until the arrow on the body meets up with the horizontal line on the head to ensure safety in a hazardous environment. Never open the torch when in a zone 0 / explosive environment.

The tail cap push button turns the torch on and off with a run-time of 7 hours from a fresh set of batteries. Always remove depleted batteries as soon as possible and also remove batteries before storing the torch to avoid battery leakage.

The IP66 rating means that this torch is dustproof as well as water resistant to a powerful water jet.

Only specific types of AAA alkaline batteries are permitted for use in this torch, they are as follows;

Alkaline: Energizer E92, Duracell Plus Power and Varta High Energy.
