Goal Zero Nomad 50 Solar Panel

£180.00 £249.90

The Goal Zero Nomad 50 is a durable and portable 50 watt solar panel, perfect for on-the-go solar power needs.

With a built-in kickstand, the Nomad 50 can be angled up to 180°, it features a built-in USB-A charging port and a 8 mm charging cable for the Goal Zero Yeti and Sherpa range.

To use the Nomad 50, position the built-in kickstand to angle the solar panel toward the sun. For optimum power, adjust the solar panel throughout the day. Plug your device into the USB-A port on the back of the solar panel to begin charging. To charge a Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa, connect the 8 mm cable to the port to begin charging automatically.

In low light conditions, such as when there is a lack of sunlight, some devices, including smartphones, may automatically disconnect from the solar panel due to a low current input. The Nomad 50 features auto-restart technology, which distinguishes between a device that has reached a fully charged state and one that has disconnected due to environmental causes. When the latter is detected, the Nomad 50 will automatically reconnect to start charging the device again.

Daisy-Chain Feature
You can use the 8 mm connector cable to daisy-chain multiple Nomad 50 solar panels together. The safest and easiest way to connect multiple Nomad 50 solar panels together is by using a Goal Zero 8 mm to APP Combiner Cable. Do not plug more than two chained Nomad 50 solar panels into anything smaller than Goal Zero Yeti 1000 as this will exceed their input ratings.

The Nomad 50 does not have a built-in battery. To store power on the go, connect a power bank to the solar panel. Our range of power banks are compatible with the Nomad 50, simply plug into the USB-A port on the back of the solar panel to start the charging process. You will need a USB-A male cable connection to fit in the Nomad 50 panel and the other end will need to match the device you wish to charge.

The Nomad 50 is the perfect lightweight solar panel for all your trips.
