Fenix LD12R Rechargeable LED Torch

The Fenix LD12R is a compact, high quality LED torch that is perfect for every day carry. The LD12R offers a maximum output of 600 lumens from the main light and also features a side light with a 100 lumen output.

Four brightness settings are available from the main light and three are available from the side light. The tail switch controls both lights, to switch from the main light to the side light while the light is on simply loosen the head of the torch until the light turns off, then re-screw the head on ensuring it is completely tight. When on the main light output a full press of the tail cap turns the light on with each half press after cycling through the outputs of moonlight, low, medium and high. While in the sidelight output, a full press of the tail cap turns the light on. Each half press after cycles through the outputs of low, medium and high. To turn the torch off while using either light fully press the tail cap button. The torch will always turn on in the main light setting and the intelligent memory circuit will remember the last setting in the main light used for your convenience.

The LD12R is powered by the included Fenix ARB-L14 14500 battery which can be charged inside the torch. With the light switched off loosen the head of the torch to reveal the hidden integrated USB-C charging port. Plug the USB-C into the torch and the other end into a suitable power outlet. The indictor will display red while charging is in progress and turn green once the torch is fully charged. The normal charging time for the included ARB-L14-800 battery is approximately 2 hours. The LD12R can also use AA Alkaline and Ni-MH batteries as well as non-rechargeable lithium-ion batteries which allows for backup power options.

To reveal the battery indicator loosen the head of the torch and press the tail cap switch, the battery indicator will flash for three seconds. A green light indicates 100%-85%, a green light flashing indicates 85%-50%, a red light indicates 50%-25% and a red light flashing indicates 25%-1%.

The intelligent overheat protection will automatically downshift the lumen output to reduce the temperature to a safe level and protect the torch and a low voltage reminder will downshift to a lower brightness level until moonlight output is reached. The torch will then blink three times every 5 minutes to remind you when the battery needs charging or replacing.
