The Fenix E02R is a tiny rechargeable key ring torch offering a maximum output of 200 lumens, which is impressive considering it's size.

Weighing only 15 grams and smaller than a car key, the E02R can easily be suspended from the included key ring on car keys, a key chain or you could thread through a wrist or neck lanyard for carrying.

It is powered by a built-in 120 mAh lithium polymer rechargeable battery which is recharged via the micro USB charging port that is concealed under the head of the torch. Loose the head to reveal the port and plug in the included micro USB cable at one end and plug the other end into a standard USB-A port or a compatible USB adaptor. The charging indicator will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 1 hour.

The twist switch gives access to the two brightness levels by tightening the head slightly to enter the low mode and then as you tighten it further it will go into the high mode. When the head is loosened the light will turn off, but be sure to make sure the head isn't loosened to far in normal use to maintain the ingress protection of the micro USB port.

An IP68 rating means that the E02R is suitable for use in all weather conditions and can be submerged under water up to 2 metres depth for 30 minutes, and is fully protected from solids as long as the charging port remains covered when not charging.

Tiny and excellent

This torch is tiny, so will fit in any bag, pocket and household nook; and yet the light is powerful. I bought one last year and this year I've returned to buy more as presents and for myself.

Forget Maglites...

After three Maglite Solitaire, battery-powered, keyring torches, which all failed after unacceptably short life spans, I bought a rechargeable E02R. I am so annoyed about the money I wasted on mini-gimmick Maglites, thinking they would be of the same quality as the bigger members of the family. If you need a keyring torch, this is the one to go for.
