Fenix CL26R Pro Rechargeable LED Camping Lantern

The Fenix CL26R Pro lantern is the upgraded version for the popular CL26R lantern, offering a higher output of 500 lumens still in an impressive compact body. It is available in three colours to suit your style, with a choice of grey, green or white.

The three main modes of low, mid and high provide full 360° lighting which is great for covering a larger area. For up close work that doesn't require the full span of light there is the front setting which provides 25 lumens of light from just the front facing section of the lantern. Turn the rotary switch on the front of the lantern clockwise to cycle through the front, low, medium and high outputs and turn the switch anticlockwise to the power icon to turn the lantern off again. For use inside a tent when hung up it has a light on the underside that provides three brightness outputs, turn the rotary switch anticlockwise to cycle through the low, medium and high outputs and turn the switch back clockwise to the power icon to turn the lantern off.

As well as the white outputs the lantern also has a red output with constant illumination or flashing settings. The red light is useful for preserving night vision while the red flash will easily attract attention if help is required. The push button on the front of the lantern controls the red settings, simply push and hold the button till the red constant light comes on, each press after will cycle between the red constant and red flashing mods. To turn the red light off press and hold the button.

To access both lighting modes at once turn on the lantern in either the main mode or the front mode. Then press and hold the push button till the other light comes on. To cycle through either light, turn the rotary switch or press the push button.

An LED power indicator is built into the front of the lantern just above the button will display when the button is pressed once while the lantern is turned off. There are four indicators in total and when the battery level is very low the first LED will flash rapidly.

The included Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 lithium-ion battery is charged inside the lantern via the USB-C cable that fits into the back of the lantern by lifting the rubber dust cover and the other end of the cable plugs into a USB source. The indicator by the switch will show the charging status with all 4 indicators showing full charge after approximately 2.5 hours. The lantern can only be used in low mode while charging however, this will prolong the charging time. The CL26R Pro can also be used as a power bank to charge up your devices. Attach a USB-A cable to the lantern and the USB-C to the device.

There's an abundance of ways and places to perfectly position your lantern where you need it. Featuring a metal hanging hook so you can easily put it up inside the tent or hang from a structure outside, which works well with the downwards light settings. There is also a magnet for hands free work, such as under the bonnet of your car.
