Coast SPG400 Safety Glasses with Built-in LED Torch

Coast's latest innovation combines their LED inspection light technology with eye wear to provide high quality rechargeable safety glasses with a built in light for ease of use while on the job.

The SPG400 safety glasses themselves are impact resistant and have been tested against the ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 standard for personal eye and face protection devices. The premium Z87+U6 clear lenses feature anti-fog and scratch resistance, and filters UV light to provide sun protection on the work site.

An equivalent of the popular Coast G19 LED penlight is built  into the right arm of the glasses, yet still provides a non bulky sleek wrap around design. Unlike others on the market, the Coast inspection beam sits perfectly in your field of vision, so you can easily see what you need to inspect hands free at the push of a button, which is located on the right hand side also.

With a single output, the light delivers a crisp, precise beam for up close work within a range of 0.6 to 1.8 metres and has a run-time of up to 9 hours, 30 minutes from a full charge of the built-in battery. To recharge the battery simply plug the included cable into the micro USB port which can be found on the underside of the left arm of the glasses, and the other end into a USB power source. The charging indicator will go red to show charging is in progress and go green once charging is complete.

Padding on the nose piece and soft rubberised arms help provide a comfortable and secure fit, while the included glasses retainer lanyard can also be fitted and adjusted for extra security. A pull string pouch is also included to keep your glasses (and the charging port!) clean and free from dirt when not in use.

These glasses are not suitable for use with blow torches or electric welders, are not appropriate for sports or simulated combat games and do not protect against chemical mists, sprays, splashes or vapours or pathogens. do not use these safety glasses if they do not provide a snug fit.
