Coast FL75 Tri Colour Focusing LED Head Torch

The Coast FL75 has been updated to offer a maximum output of 700 lumens white light from a single high powered LED, and also now features a green side LED as well as retaining the red side LED.

The red light is useful for low level lighting, preserving the users night vision and animal spotting, whilst green light is good for fog, map reading and the human eye is the most sensitive to the green light spectrum. The coloured lights are operated with a separate button on the left of the head torch, so there's no cycling through the white to get to the red or green.

The white light is controlled by the right hand side button and cycles through the three brightness settings in order of mid, high and low. The white light can also be focused from a long reaching spot beam to an ultra wide flood beam by twisting the focusing bezel.

The headband is comfortable as well as adjustable and features reflective material for safety and additional visibility in low light.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries, the FL75 has a run-time of up to 23 hours on the low setting and a hinged bracket allows for beam adjustment to aim the light where you need it. Alternatively the updated FL75 can also use the Coast ZX350 Zithion-X lithium-ion battery pack which features a built-in USB port, offering a rechargeable option.

Quality torch

Good quality torch with a nice weight and feel about it. It has four settings from high to low and also strobe. The magnetic base is handy for keeping the torch in place leaving your hands free. Can be adjusted from low to high, with high being very bright. Handy carrying strap and with an IP67 rating can be used in the rain with no worries about water ingress.

I bought a Fenix LR36R and it was delivered very very quickly,i ordered it 2 days ago and got it today.

Im very impressed with the lazer beam and fog light and all the modes,its also very easy to use.

The torch is not overly heavy it feels great in your hand and with the lanyard you can tighten the torch to your wrist.

It also comes with a belt clip and a torch holster,im very impressed with it to be honest.

I saw on torch direct website they also offered a free engraving for up to 20 characters i think it was.

Clever piece of kit

I have found a clever answer to keep me fishing for an extra half hour. Dusk, when often trout rise is a favourite time and usually the most productive. However to quickly tie on the right fly in low light is very challenging. But with the Einstein torch clipped to my cap i can change flies as often as i need and continue fishing. Thank you you have
