Coast G45 Dual Power LED Torch

The Coast G45 has been updated to not only offer a higher output of 400 lumens from a single white LED, but it now also offers the choice of high or low mode for a touch more versatility.

Using three AAA alkaline batteries, this torch is super compact and can easily fit into a large pocket or handbag without bother. Alternatively the updated G45 can also use the Coast X557 Zithion-X lithium-ion battery which features a built-in USB port, offering a rechargeable option.

Quick half presses of the tail switch from off cycles between high / low, and you can fully press the button in on the required output, giving you the option to choose the right level for your application. Alternatively if the torch is turned fully on and off in quick succession it will also switch between high / low. If the button isn't pressed in quick succession, the light will revert to come on in high as default with a single full press.

The bulls-eye spot beam provides a central hot spot surrounded by a halo of transitional light to increase the total field of view, and has a beam range of up to 160 metres on high.

Dust and water resistant to IP54 standards, it is perfect for DIY, inspection and general daily tasks. The handy pocket clip also allows for convenient access when attached to clothing, making it ideal for engineers, maintenance workers and the like who may regularly inspect equipment or machinery.

A proper key ring torch at last

This Armytech prime c1 torch is expensive, but previous rechargeable key ring torches were always dead when you came to use them. So far this has been excellent. It is ridiculously bright for a key ring torch, although it is very easy to get used to using this as a proper torch. Probably slightly too large for a keyring, but I use it anyway, and am very pleased with it. I Like the standard lithium battery (18350) which can be replaced.

When you need the best ... choose Maglite every time!

The ML300L 2D torch feels solid and dependable and is a really good weight. The modes on it are useful. I keep it on #2 so that I have access to strobe for emergencies. I bought it for preflighting my aircraft for night flying and the spot to focus beam is ideal. I own several other maglites (including the ML300L 3D for my house) which have proven very dependable in many situations, I wouldn't choose another brand to be honest. I've also bought all my torches from Torch Direct, their customer service is excellent.

Great bit of kit

Firstly I didn't buy this, I received it as a free gift with my order and as someone who doesn't normally use a lighter I put it in the tin of candles in the kitchen and forgot about it. Tonight, November the fifth, time to have my yearly fire and used the plasma lighter, it is amazing, anything flammable the "spark" touches is instantly on fire, really impressive bit of kit, good build quality and no lighter fuel to buy. I would have been really happy with this if I'd paid for it myself, but even better free. Thank you Torch Direct.

Mini Maglite 2-Cell AA LED Torch
AN EXCELLENT TORCH

1. This is an excellent torch and has a much brighter light than the Mini-Maglite had years ago when ordinary bulbs were used. It is ideal for carrying in the pocket, briefcase, ladies handbag or anywhere else where a small lightweight handy torch would be used.
2. There are a number of accessories available, depending on its intended use, but one I would advise is a press-switch end-cap. The torch can then be operated with one hand instead of having to use two to switch it on and off. These can also be obtained with a lanyard attached.
3. Unfortunately I have yet to find a suitable belt-holder for this torch. Most of them are open-ended, elasticated and not easy to use. Something like a pen case with a flap at the top would be suitable.
4. Although these torches may seem a little expensive, they are well worth it, as they can last for years.
