Coast HP10R Rechargeable LED Torch Kit

The Coast HP10R is a rechargeable hand torch that offers an output of 1050 lumens or 675 lumens depending on the battery type.

The dual power system means that it can be powered by the rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack for increased run-times and an output of 1050 lumens or it can use four non-rechargeable AAA alkaline batteries which provides a shorter run-time and an output of 675 lumens. The AAA alkaline batteries are useful as a back up if the two rechargeable battery packs run out and you don't have access to recharge them.

Two lithium-ion battery packs are included so you have a spare for when one runs out. The lithium-ion battery pack features a micro USB port so that it can be charged using the included micro USB cable via a USB power source. While charging is in progress an LED indicator glows red and turns green once charging is complete.

The battery can also be charged inside the torch via the hidden charging port on the tail of the torch which can be revealed by twisting just the top section of the tail cap anti-clockwise and then pulling it upwards. The tail of the torch also features a hidden standard USB-A port and can be used as a power bank to charge external devices while the rechargeable battery is inside.

A half press of the tactical tail switch from off cycles through the three brightness levels in the order of high, strobe and low, giving you the option to choose the right level for your application.

Using Coast's Pure Beam Focusing Optic System the bulls-eye spot beam provides a beam range of up to 310 metres, and the ultra view flood beam gives a consistent circle of light with no dark circles in the middle. Changing between spot to flood is achieved by sliding the head of the torch backwards and forwards in the unlocked position. The head can be locked into focus by twisting the head anti-clockwise until a click is heard.

High: 675 lumens; 1 hour run-time; 240 m beam range
Low: 200 lumens; 2 hours, 30 minutes run-time; 130 m beam range

Using the lithium-ion battery pack:
High: 1050 lumens; 6 hours run-time; 310 m beam range
Low: 230 lumens; 11 hours run-time; 145 m beam range
