Nitecore TIKI GITD White & UV Rechargeable LED Key Ring Torch

The Nitecore TIKI GITD is a glow in the dark version of the TIKI, and features a phosphorescent shell which allows it to glow in the dark after being exposed to UV light or sunlight, making it super easy to find in a dark room, handbag or drawer.

It is a lightweight, rechargeable key ring torch that has a maximum output of 300 lumens white light from a OSRAM P8 LED, and also features two auxiliary LEDs built in to the body of the torch.

The primary white beam utilises a total reflective optic lens for a uniform and soft beam, which is perfect for up close tasks due to the widespread nature of the beam.

The first auxiliary output is a ultraviolet LED with 500 mW power output and a wavelength of 365 nm, which is useful for a range of tasks including detecting fake money and ID cards as well as verification mark reading, UV ink reading, Smart Water and SelectaDNA.

There is also an auxiliary white LED with a high colour rendering index (CRI ≥ 90) and a colour temperature of 4500 K that provides an output of 22 lumens. The high CRI means the beam resembles that of morning sunlight, making colours appear more clearly to the human eye and also reducing eye strain, which makes this mode perfect for night reading and it can also be stood up on its head to be used for close range activities.

The integrated 130 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery is charged via a micro USB charging port on the back of the torch (cable not included) and once connected to power a charging indicator under the switch will illuminate to show charging is in progress, and go off once charging is complete after approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Four main white brightness levels are available, as well as two white aux settings and one UV setting, all of which are controlled by a single push button. To access the main white output, double press the button to turn the light on and then single press to cycle through ultra-low, low, mid, high and hold down the button to turn the light off. Momentary access to high is possible by holding the button down while the light is off, which is a useful feature when trying to find the key hole in the dark.

Triple press the button from off to access the auxiliary settings and then single press to cycle through UV, aux white, aux white flash and hold the button down to turn the light off.

A solid ring pull design allows for attachment of keys and can withstand up to 30 kg of weight. A carabiner style key ring clip if included so you can fasten the TIKI GITD to a set of keys, a backpack or hang on a key hook.

The TIKI GITD is constructed from transparent and frosted PC materials, with a phosphorescent shell, while the head is constructed from stainless steel for excellent heat dissipation capabilities.
