Nitecore Thumb Leo Rechargeable LED Key Ring Torch

A variation of the Thumb, the Nitecore Thumb Leo is a rechargeable key ring torch that has a maximum output of 45 lumens white light from one high performance LED and a 365 nm wavelength ultraviolet LED with 500 mW power output.

The feature that gives the Thumb it's name is the ability to adjust the head within a 120° angle from the vertical position, using just your thumb. Combine this with the handy pocket clip and you have yourself a useful worklight that can be attached to a belt, back pack, hat or anything else you can think of.

As well as the main white light the Thumb Leo also offers a secondary UV 365 nm output which is useful for a range of tasks including detecting fake money and ID cards as well as verification mark reading, UV ink reading, Smart Water and SelectaDNA.

There is also an alternating red and blue signal light output via the red and blue LEDs located on the body of the torch between the switches. The alternating flashing blue and red lights act as a warning signal which is useful in an emergency.

The integrated 220 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery is charged via a micro USB charging port on the side of the torch (cable not included) and displays a steadily illuminating red LED indicator while charging, that goes green once charging is complete.

A dual interface switch features a front button to operate the white/UV light and a back button to operate the red/blue light. The front button turns the left white LED on first and then a second press within 1 second changes to the right UV LED. The third press turns the light off, or if in the white mode longer than 3 seconds the next press will also turn the light off. The back button turns the red/blue signal on and off.

A lockout function prevents accidental activation which is activated by holding both buttons down until the red/blue light flashes and is unlocked the same way.
