Nitecore NU20 Classic Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The Nitecore NU20 Classic is an ultra lightweight rechargeable head torch which blends traditional design with advanced LED technology. 

The primary white light provides a maximum output of 360 lumens from the NiteLab UHE LED which is combined with the unibody optical lens system designed to provide comfort and offers a soft glow with smooth lighting transitions.

The dual auxiliary light offers one white output and red outputs of red high, red low or red flashing outputs, which preserves your night vision and is good for wildlife observation, astronomy and night photography.

The headband design features a double strap of thin elastic the whole way round instead of a traditional headband which has multiple benefits such as reducing weight, reflective properties, glowing in the dark and an easy adjustment toggle for a perfect fit. Additionally the head torch has a hinged bracket, that is hollowed to reduce weight further, and allows the light to be tilted and adjusted.

Four battery indicators are built into the top of the torch and will display remaining battery power when the mode button is pressed once while the light is off. To prevent accidental activation there is also a lockout function.

The NU20 Classic has an integrated 500 mAh lithium-ion battery that is charged via the USB-C charging port on the side of the torch.

I'm very impressed with my new MH 25 V2 torch.

I'm very impressed with my new MH 25 V2 torch. My main use is as a hunting torch on a full-bore rifle. The beam is really powerful and lights as far as I can shoot. I like that you can cycle up through the brightness allowing you to gradually build up the light which can help avoid spooking your target. I use it with the new WM-O2 weapon mount which, with the 40mm torch head is small enough when mounted on my rifle to be below my moderator and does not affect zero. The whole assembly of the torch and mount comfortably fits in my pocket. The battery life is great and being able to use backup batteries is useful if you can't get a recharge. When I'm not hunting it is still a very useful torch for all situations, a must to pack item when I go on holiday. I hope I never need the strobe, beacon, or SOS modes but it's reassuring to know they are included if needed in an emergency. My only disappointment is that I forgot to add the free laser engraving of my name or initials that TorchDirect offers.

Perfect driving torch

For the last 25 years I have been a professional driver mainly HGV and I think this is the perfect work torch for a driver. I always carry about 4 torches in my bag 2 main, 1 head, 1 hand and 2 backups. My main hand torch for years has been the olight seeker pro 2 [fantastic bit of kit], this is going to replace it purely because of it's versatility as a tool, If I had realised traffic wands were this good id have had one years ago, great for doubling up as a lantern, four colours and plenty of modes. I have been really impressed by this torch especially now the price has dropped they are a real bargain for the amount of roles they can carry out, I might yet get a second one for in the car. Would recommend to anyone.
