Nitecore HC60 UHE Rechargeable LED Head Torch

The upgraded Nitecore HC60 UHE rechargeable torch now emits an output of 1600 lumens using 6 NiteLab UHE LED's, plus offers a red light output.

It is designed with a wide range flood optics system to provide a wide angle beam of 100° for excellent peripheral vision, which makes it perfect outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, camping, running and more. Additionally the head torch sits in an ergonomically designed bracket with rubber loops that hold the torch in place, allowing the light to be easily rotated and adjusted within a 180° angle.

The HC60 UHE features two buttons, the rectangle power button is used for turning the torch on or off and adjusting the brightness levels while the oval mode button is used for switching light sources.

To turn the torch on, long press the power button for one second to access the white low output. Long press again to turn the torch off. Once turned on in the white output, short presses cycle through the brightness settings in the order of low, mid and high. Or for direct access to ultra low, double press the power button while the torch is off. The last used brightness setting will be remembered the next time the light is turned back on. To access the strobe output, double press the power button while the torch in on in the white output, short press to return to the previous output.

To access the red light from off, long press the mode button for one second. While on in the red light, short press the power button to switch between the red low and red high outputs.

To switch between the light sources while the torch is on, short press the mode button. Three special modes are available and can be accessed from off by double pressing the mode button to enter SOS, and then each single press will cycle through SOS, beacon and slow flash with each press of the switch. Double press the mode button again to return to the previous output.

Supplied with the HC60 UHE is a Nitecore 4000 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery, that is charged inside the head lamp via the USB-C charging port. Reveal the port by unscrewing the USB cover on the right side of the torch and then simply plug the included cable into the charging port and the other end into a suitable USB power source. The indicator beneath the button will slowly flash while charging is in progress, and turn solid once charging is complete after approximately 2 hours.

The HC60 UHE can also be powered by an external power source, simply connect one end of the USB-C cable to the head torch and the other to the power source. The torch will flash once to show charging and will prioritise using the external power source. Once disconnected the torch will flash three times and stop charging.

The integrated advance temperature regulation (ATR) technology regulates the output of the HC60 UHE according to the working condition and ambient environment to maintain the optimal performance.

The rugged unibody aluminium construction provides excellent cooling performance and a sturdy unit that is also lightweight, while the head band features a curved rubber pad at the back for a comfortable fit to the head and a silicone strip on the inside of the head band to channel away sweat as well as provide a non-slip fit.
