Fenix LR60R Rechargeable LED Searchlight

The Fenix LR60R is the darkness destroyer and the newest addition to the LR series. This astonishing searchlight can produce a maximum of 21,000 lumens and a beam range that can reach up to 1085 metres!

A mechanical rotary switch controls the LR60R, simply turn the switch into any output to turn the torch on and turn back to the '0' symbol to turn the torch off. Turning the switch clockwise will access the Search Mode which is perfect for long range searching. Each turn clockwise will cycle through the eco, low, medium, high and turbo outputs. Turing the switch left will enter the Camp Mode which is ideal for large area lightning. Each turn anticlockwise will cycle through the medium, high, turbo, SOS and strobe outputs.

The LR60R features an OLED screen which stays on during use, regardless of the output. The OLED screen shows the current output, remaining run-time and remaining battery level.

The LR60R is powered by the built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack which is charged inside the torch via the USB Type-C charging port, located on the neck of the torch. Lift the dust cover and plug in the USB -C cable at one end, then plug either the standard USB-A into the mains. The USB-C port has a 45 W output for faster charging with a full charge taking approximately 1.5 hours. The OLED screen will light up while charging is in progress showing the battery level and charging status.

Next to the USB-C port there is also a USB-A port to be used as as power bank to allow for charging of an external USB-C device using the torch battery. Simply plug the cable into the USB-A port and then connect the other end to your USB-C device. When charging is in progress the OLED screen will automatically light up to show the battery level and discharge status.

To prevent danger from the heat generated by the torch, the LR60R features an intelligent sensing circuit that will automatically reduce the output to eco if the head of the torch is within 60 mm of an illuminated object for over 1 second so that the heat expelled from the torch doesn't cause any damage. Once moved away from the object for over 1.2 seconds the light will recall the last used brightness. As different materials reflect differently, there may be slight deviations in the sensing distance. To turn this function on or off simply switch from off to eco back to off quickly within 3 seconds.

A removable handle is attached to the torch and a shoulder strap is included for easily carrying of the torch.

Please note: The torch will accumulate a lot of heat when used for extended periods in the high output modes, therefore the temperature protection will lower the output of the torch if the temperature reaches 60°C or above. Once the torch has cooled the higher output can be reselected.

Note: *The turbo output is measured at total run-time, including output at reduced levels due to temperature or the built-in protection mechanism.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using the built-in 3.7 V, 12000 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
