About Maglite
Armed with only his talent, his determination and his reverence for hard work, Tony Maglica set out in pursuit of the American Dream when he founded Mag Instrument in 1955. He went on to design and manufacture a torch that revolutionised the category. It was not long before long police officers, firefighters and mechanics were raving about the tough, durable and dependable torch that would soon become an American classic.
Today, that legacy continues and the range has grown to include compact, full-size, tactical and rechargeable torches. Every MagLite is designed to perform under tough real-world conditions: they are water-resistant, shock resistant, corrosion-resistant and backed up by a limited lifetime warranty. Still proudly made in the USA, every MagLite represents the culmination of more than 35 years of research, development and refinement.
Excellent service as usual from torchdirect. The HT18R is a really good thrower, and the usual Fenix quality. The red and green filters are also good for searching for wildlife.
This torch has made finding addresses in the dark much easier, hope it lasts!
Neat little torch, perfect for finding the keyhole on a dark night.
Arrived quickly. Recommend copying instructions from the website as the packaging instructions are too small to read.
Very good
This torch is tiny, so will fit in any bag, pocket and household nook; and yet the light is powerful. I bought one last year and this year I've returned to buy more as presents and for myself.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Only had it a few days. No problems so far. Works as described.
Grate idea for a battery, I use it for a laser pointer.
Have had issues with charging thies smaller cells on typical 18650 size charger or simmiler chargers.
Battery works really well on the laser pointer + no need for a additional single cell charger.
Highly reccomended type for torches and other devices using 1 cell and charged a fue times / when needed.
Small but useful item.
Maglite is difficult to source in the UK, but this company made it easy and at a market-related price
Good little torch, just right for me.
I had an issue with the torch not working, but torch direct sorted this out quickly and my replacement worked perfectly.
Excellent budget torch (LED headlamp). The three white light options are excellent. The red nightlight option is perfect for camping/unobtrusive night use as it is a very low level localised red wash —NB not be ideal as a bicycle backlight — unlike some previous versions made by silverlight…but perfect for preserving night vision in the dark.
This is a very useful light indeed. I bought it to supplement a built in battery COB work light, as a back up for extended use. It has the advantage of replaceable batteries so is absolutely perfect for my use. It would also be a very good back up in case of power cuts etc in a domestic situation given the easy availability of AA batteries. Obviously it was supplied by Torch Direct with their usual excellent service.
Nice torch - very bright. It took me a while to find out how to expose the USB charging point, but once you know it's easy. I haven't used it enough to verify the battery times, yet, but so far it is impressive. It would have been nice to be able to vary the narrowness of the beam.
What a torch. Small and lightweight but its beam is astonishing. I bought it for evening dog walking, for which it's ideal.
It may seem a little expensive, but it isn't. With this little gem you get what you pay for.
This Armytech prime c1 torch is expensive, but previous rechargeable key ring torches were always dead when you came to use them. So far this has been excellent. It is ridiculously bright for a key ring torch, although it is very easy to get used to using this as a proper torch. Probably slightly too large for a keyring, but I use it anyway, and am very pleased with it. I Like the standard lithium battery (18350) which can be replaced.
