Goal Zero Nomad 5 Solar Panel

The Goal Zero Nomad 5 is a durable, lightweight, and portable solar panel, perfect for on-the-go solar power needs.

With a built-in kickstand, the Nomad 5 can be angled up to 180° and features a built-in USB-A charging port.

To use the Nomad 5, position the built-in kickstand to angle the solar panel toward the sun. For optimum power, adjust the solar panel throughout the day. Plug your device into the USB-A port on the back of the solar panel to begin charging.

In low light conditions, such as when there is a lack of sunlight, some devices, including smartphones, may automatically disconnect from the solar panel due to a low current input. The Nomad 5 features auto-restart technology, which distinguishes between a device that has reached a fully charged state and one that has disconnected due to environmental causes. When the latter is detected, the Nomad 5 will automatically reconnect to start charging the device again.

The Nomad 5 does not have a built-in battery. To store power on the go, connect a power bank to the solar panel. Our range of power banks are compatible with the Nomad 5, simply plug into the USB-A port on the back of the solar panel to start the charging process. You will need a USB-A male cable connection to fit in the Nomad 5 panel and the other end will need to match the device you wish to charge.
