Coast Polysteel 1000 LED Torch

Those of you that are familiar with the Polysteel range will know that they are tough and ready for action, and now that same greatness is available in a slightly larger body that is the Polysteel 1000, offering a higher output of 1000 lumens.

It features a stainless steel core that protects the inner components, meaning the Polysteel 1000 is impact resistant up to a 3 metre drop height. The outer casing is made of lightweight polymer, displaying a comfortable non-slip grip design.

A half press of the tactical tail switch from off cycles through the three brightness levels, high, mid and low, giving you the option to choose the right level for your application.

Using Coast's Pure Beam Focusing Optic System the bulls-eye spot beam provides a beam range of 351 metres, and the ultra view flood beam gives a consistent circle of light up to 3 metres in diameter at a distance of 1.8 metres. Changing between spot to flood is achieved using the twist focus control in the head of the Polysteel 1000.

It is powered by nine AA alkaline batteries, and because of this it can provide a run-time of 11 hours in the highest setting which is great for people who require a combination of a high output and long run-time.
